Leben
Er studierte von 1985 bis 1990 an der UniversitΓ€t von Arizona und schloss sein Studium mit einem B.S.E.E. (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) ab. Von 1990 bis 2004 arbeitet er bei verschiedenen Unternehmen als Berater und Softwareentwickler. Seit 2004 ist er an der UniversitΓ€t von Hawaii als Senior Software Engineer fΓΌr Pan-STARRS und seit 2013 auch fΓΌr das Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System tΓ€tig. Sein spezielles TΓ€tigkeitsfeld in der Softwareentwicklung sind Asteroiden, astronomische Bildverarbeitung, Pipeline-Entwicklung, C-, Perl- und Python-Programmierung.
2009 bis 2014 macht er seinen Ph.D. in Astronomie an der UniversitΓ€t von Belfast.
